Matt and Ally are two love birds who adore one another’s company.  Their Love Story began in December of 2011 when they were introduced through mutual friends.  They had an instant, deep, connection and continued to keep contact.  Their love was so strong they immediately decided to share a place together!  December 25th 2014 came and Matt had a special surprise up his sleeve for his beautiful Ally!  He handed her a tiny box and asked if she would be his wife! After the happy tears and the nervous giggles Ally was able to say YES, of course!!!!  And so their journey of planning a lovely rustic, Edmonton urban wedding.  A wedding with close friends and family took place at the Yellow Head Brewery in August of 2016.  All of Matt and Ally’s wedding decor was made with tons of love and dedication.  Ally and her friends spent hours and hours making centre pieces, bedazzling shoes and putting together boutonnieres for the boys!   Their friends are so supportive, they were so cool with shooting in the alleys around the Yellow head brewery!   Ally and Matt continue to let their love grow with their Monday night date nights!  It was awesome being able to capture their  super sweet love day!

Photographing Scott and Sonet’s love story was one of the best times I have had in my life.  Destination Wedding Photography was on my bucket list for sure!  I was so grateful Sonet and Scott invited me along for their Caribbean celebration in Mexico!  Never did I think I would meet and become friends with so many wonderful, loving and caring people during a wedding celebration!  Their family and friends made me feel like I was part of them.  This feeling of togetherness made it so simple to capture the moments!

The Destination Wedding day started with the girls getting pampered at the salon while the men gathered for socials at Scott’s resort room.  It was so sweet watching their daughter idolize Sonet as she got ready.  The ceremony was held on the beach of the Grande Princess Riviera Resort, and couldn’t have been any prettier!  Following the beach ceremony, everyone headed to a very romantic restaurant for some delicious seafood cuisine! Scott and Sonet’t amazing destination wedding was finished off with heart felt speeches and wonderful dancing on the beach lit only by torches!  It was as romantic as it sounds!!

I take my job as a lifestyle wedding photographer very seriously.  I really appreciate couples who trust me to bring their love story to life through photographs.  I knew Phaedra and Greg’s love story was one of a kind when I had first met them for coffee to discuss their wedding vision.

There story begins like this – It was a beautiful clear day when I arrived at Greg’s families Ranch, Flying Stables. The hustle and bustle of family and friends had already began when I arrived.  Family and friends from as far as Scotland came to help celebrate the marriage between Phaedra and Greg.  Everyone had their part in this day.  Family members making sure that everything is set in place, friends giving pep talks, make up and hair artists performing their magic, little flower girls running around in their pretty dresses, and the bride and groom trying to relax before they say forever!  Everything was going off just as expected, Phaedra wouldn’t have had it any other way.  This was her day.  The day she got to celebrate her love with Greg.  You could truly feel the love!  The laughter and the fun began the minute They said I DO!  Thank you so much for allowing me to document this day!!!!
